1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the Instrumento.io platform ("Service") by all customers, users, and third parties. It supplements the Terms of Service and is incorporated by reference therein. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP.

2. Permitted Uses

The Service is designed for nonprofit organizations and social-sector entities to:

• Collect, organize, and analyze program data related to social impact.
• Generate dashboards, reports, and visualizations for internal use and donor/funder reporting.
• Conduct surveys and assessments of program participants.
• Collaborate with team members on impact measurement and reporting.
• Integrate with authorized third-party data sources (e.g., Google Sheets).

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activity

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• Engage in, facilitate, or promote illegal activity of any kind.
• Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any individual or group.
• Collect or process personal data without a valid lawful basis under applicable privacy law.

3.2 Security Violations

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or any other system.
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, or security research without prior written authorization from Instrumento.io.
• Introduce, transmit, or store malicious code, viruses, worms, or other harmful software.
• Circumvent or disable any security feature, authentication mechanism, or access control.
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or any form of automated abuse.

3.3 Intellectual Property Violations

• Upload, store, or transmit content that infringes any third-party intellectual property right, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Service.

3.4 Data Misuse

• Upload or process sensitive personal data (health data, financial account numbers, government IDs) beyond what is necessary for your stated program purpose.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or service.
• Scrape, extract, or systematically download data from the Service beyond what is available through official export features.
• Share access credentials with unauthorized individuals.

3.5 Misrepresentation

• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely claim affiliation with any person or entity.
• Submit false or misleading information to the Service or to Instrumento.io.
• Use the Service to create or distribute misinformation or disinformation.

3.6 Spam and Unsolicited Communications

• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications (spam).
• Use survey or form features to collect data from individuals without their knowledge or consent.

4. Content Standards

All content uploaded to or generated through the Service must:

• Be accurate and not misleading.
• Comply with applicable privacy laws, including obtaining necessary consents from data subjects.
• Not contain material that is obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Not violate the rights of any third party.

5. Resource Usage

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in a manner that places an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
• Automate requests to the Service at a rate that exceeds normal human usage without prior written authorization.
• Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency or perform computationally intensive tasks unrelated to the Service's intended purpose.

6. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to:

We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

7. Enforcement

We reserve the right to:

• Investigate suspected violations of this AUP.
• Suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations, with or without notice, depending on the severity.
• Cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in investigating violations.
• Seek legal remedies for violations that cause harm to Instrumento.io or third parties.

Repeated or severe violations will result in permanent account termination without refund.

8. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
