Cookie Notice
Instrumento LLC, an Arizona limited liability company
Effective date: August 18, 2026 · Version 2.0.0
1. What this notice covers
This notice describes the cookies and browser storage instrumento.io actually uses — audited against the running application, not against a generic template. Version 1.x of this document listed several cookies that did not exist and omitted tools that did; this version replaces it.
We use cookies (small files a site asks your browser to keep) and browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage, which stay on your device and are read by our own pages).
2. Strictly necessary
Required for the site and the application to work. These do not ask for consent, because refusing them is refusing the service itself.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__Host-app_session_id | Cookie | Your authenticated session | Session-limited; revoked server-side on sign-out and account deletion |
subscription_redirect | Cookie | Returns you to the right page after sign-in during checkout flows | 10 minutes |
new_user_signup | Cookie | One-time routing after a first sign-in | 5 minutes |
instrumento_cookie_consent / instrumento_cookie_preferences | localStorage | Records the consent choice you made in the banner | Until you clear it |
3. Functional
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
i18nextLng | localStorage | Remembers your language | Until you clear it |
theme | localStorage | Remembers light/dark mode | Until you clear it |
4. Analytics and monitoring — consent-gated
Nothing in this category runs until you choose it in the banner.
- Product analytics (self-hosted Umami, when configured): page-view and feature-usage events. The analytics script performs no automatic tracking; events are sent only after you consent to analytics, and none are sent if you decline. Uses
instrumento_analytics_once(sessionStorage) to de-duplicate funnel events within a browsing session. - Session replay (Sentry): anonymized interaction traces that help us reproduce bugs, with text masked and media blocked. Replay attaches only after you consent to analytics.
Error monitoring (Sentry) runs on all pages without consent: it captures application errors and stack traces so we can fix them, sends no deliberately identifying information, and records no replays without the consent above. We treat this as strictly necessary for operating the service; if you disagree, browser-level blocking of sentry-cdn.com is effective and does not break the site.
5. Third parties
| Provider | When | Their notice |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment pages of customer accounts (Stripe.js) | stripe.com/privacy |
| Only if you sign in with Google | policies.google.com/privacy | |
| Calendly | Only if you open our demo-booking link (their site) | calendly.com/privacy |
We set no advertising cookies and no cross-site trackers.
6. Your choices
- The banner offers Accept all, Essential only, and per-category customization the first time you visit.
- Change your mind any time: use Cookie settings in the footer of every public page to reopen the banner, or clear the
instrumento_cookie_*entries in your browser storage. - Browser controls can view, delete, or block cookies site-wide; blocking the strictly necessary ones will prevent sign-in.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our consent system does not currently read DNT or GPC signals automatically; your in-banner choice is what we honor, and declining analytics is fully effective. If we add automatic GPC handling, this notice will say so.
8. Changes and contact
Changes get a new version number and effective date, and material ones re-surface the banner.
